The Coke Clay dolls have been entertaining the Chinese viewers for more than a decade. Chinese New Year (CNY) is a must-win opportunity for Coca-Cola's business as it accounts for about 13% of their annual sales. The Coca-cola company creates beautifully animated series of Coke's clay doll every year as a part of their CNY initiative. For their CNY 2018 campaign, they wanted the character to be 'refreshed', become more memorable and iconic of CNY for years to come. Thus, the client wanted their existing mascots to look older without losing any of the appeal, sweetness and charm.
